Default hurst to pro 5.0?

how many of you guys have switched from your factory hurst to a pro 5.0? the reason i ask is because i still feel that the factory hurst isnt enough. i drove a buddy's car with a ripper and i liked it more than the the hurst.

I like my hurst better than my friends pro 50. Just personal preference. Try driving one, or at least fiddleing with one if a local has it.

Pro 5.0 > everything else. I wish they made one for a C5. I've had 5 6 speed f-bodies, and I've had the ripper, the non-factory hurst, the factory hurst, and some other wierd one but I'd take the pro 5.0 over all of them.

I'm happy with the Pro 5.0 compared to the stock hurst. For me, the 2nd to 3rd shift seems easier with the Pro 5.0. You also get a "free" short stick with the 5.0, since you can cut off about 1" of the threads on the stick and still have plenty to tighten down the ****.

The 5.0 rulez. The factory Hurst in my car, made speed shifting 2-3 gear impossible. I just should have got it sooner. I thought my technique was bad. The Pro 5.0 shifts effortlessly and I think it is one of the best things I have spent $170 on in a while.

Pro 5.0 here as well. Factory Hurst in my friends 02 WS6 feels flimsy and loose compared to the Pro 5.0.

i went from the factory hurst to the ripper then to the pro 5.0/LSS. the 5.0 in my opinion is by far my favorite. short and just clicks into place.

Sold my Pro 5.0 for a ripper. Just didn't like it after I took maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch of threads off. 2nd to 3rd was wierd after cutting it down some. Love the ripper, except the long throw it has, but still like it much better.

My car came with a Hurst and I swapped it out for a Pro 5.0. I loved it but eventually got used to the feel and ended up buying a LSS to shorten the throw even more. It feels great

Pro 5.0 w/LSS is the best Hands down. I went from the Stock shifter to the Ripper and the throws weren't even that much shorter. I returned the Ripper after a couple days and got the Pro 5.0. The Pro 5.0 w/LSS was hands down better than the Ripper IMO. I recommend a pro 5.0 to everyone with a 6 speed F-body.
