30,000 on the car. I put it in first gear, dumped it at about 1500 got on it and spun the rpms up , then went to go into 2nd, the clutch pedal stayed to the floor and going into second just grinded like a mother fcker. Afterwards I couldn't get into my second gear and thought It was gone. Then I knew my clutch was burnt, not real bad but under load shifting it just goes. I pulled over and just drove around messing with the gears mainly first and second to check on the throw and make sure it was ok. Second eventually was opened and I could get into it, Not very easily but its there. So why did it do this. I went back out to make sure my clutch was a goner, got on first spun then shifted second ( it went in this time i made sure ) then the pedal was down again to the floor stuck and i was going no where. Clutch under load is a goner for sure. What would you guys do in this situation. Should I buy a brand new t56 , pull this one and get it looked at or what , I know I need a new clutch which I'll be searching the boards in a few minutes for which to get. Gosh this upsets me

poor car. What happened here? clutch didn't perform and i was shifting clutchless?
