Spec Stage 3+
Spec Stage 3+ I am in need of an upgrade for a clutch. I currently have a Spec Stage 1 and for all the crap it has endured from me, its still holding up well. I beat it on it repeadetly and its still going strong; however, I know its going to take a dump on me soon- its starting to slip in higher RPM's. My mods right now are only a cutout and airlid, but I have longtubes and full exhaust waiting to be installed. This is where the clutch comes in, I want a very durable one and a clutch which I can beat on(I guess who doesnt 
) Is a Stage 3+ too much for full exhaust and a lid? I also want to upgrade to a Pro 5.0 short shifter...
Any opinions? As far as price, I dont really care as long as its worth it. But keep in mind that I might be making 330 HP when I get it tuned, so I need something thats not really overkill...

mine is not shakey at all but I am having problems with the clutch slipping in 5th and 6th. looking at it this weekend. It definatly grabs very well, and is very streetable. I would reccomend this or the ls7 set up. I'm guessing I just got a bad one or something is wrong.
Im running a Spec Stage 3 with the mods in my sig and it is fine. There is some clutch chatter, but doesnt really bother me too much.
Only time I mine has slipped is right after we installed it and I'm guessing thats because it still had some brake cleaner on it, but now it grips great and doesnt slip at all.

A buddy of mine is running the Spec 3+. I loved it and will be my next clutch. Might be a little overkill for you but if you ever plan to upgrade with a H/C setup, the 3+ will be able to handle it plus some.
been runnin gmine for 25k+ miles 100+ passes and still holds great drives fine on the street . during break in is the worst part with the chatter you might get . it goes away for the most part though. i still have a little if i take of real slow

.Even with just 10 miles on it the chatter started to go away.
I love mine, don't have any problems with it. I little chatter but nothing to get worked up over.

A lot of people post on here and badmouth specs clutches so much, well think about it, its made to be a high performance part, what would you expect!! Its a great bang for your buck part. The chatter(the shakky Feeling you get sometimes)really isnt that bad, nothing to get you panties in a bunch about.
high performance part isnt desigend for 100% comfort nor should they be 
ive been running the 3+ for 5k now. About 20 passes with 550hp and 1.5 60ft. Feels great all the time. I have 0 chatter at any time. Its the perfect clutch very street friendly. Nice job spec!
Im using the 3+ and i love it, i got no chatter after the install. before this install, hade the 3 in their it chattered like crazy, i could not stand it so i took it out the differenc is 3 has a puck design and 3+ is a full disc, im not shure about the material.
