Default goin to order a new clutch....

but i was wondering, will i need to upgrade the rest of the drivetrain as well? Ive read some of the havoc the mcloed twin disk are doin to non-bulletproof drivetrains. I am lookin into gettin the RAM setup, but i dont have the money right now to get a new rear end or a new driveshaft. i will need a new clutch since the stock one is starting to slip and probably wont last long with the power level im at and will be throwing at it.

I think you've answered your own question. The McLeod dual disc is 1 helluva clutch and will twist and bend things it grabs so violently. I'd say just opt for the Ram right now. The Ram has been reported by 1 to handle 700 RWTQ. You could call Ram and ask them if they have another disc material to use for your application also. Might benefit you in calling them before you place your order.

Postal...maybe i should just start posting questions on OUR board...HAHAHA. it seems like you are always answering my questions anyways. Oh yea, you probably dont know but this is Jay, i just have a different name here (as you can tell) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Anyways, im most likely gonna go with the RAM but i just wanted to ask if anyone could tell me if this clutch setup puts enough stress on a stock drivetrain to where i would have to beef it up. Or if i could just get away with the POS stock rearend and driveshaft for awhile longer while using the RAM clutch
