I got the 6.5" on my factory Hurst, and it's awesome. Don't hit nowhere on the console. A lot better than the sloppy factory Hurst stick. I give it a .

Does anyone know if the Lou's s.s., or the UMI has these same issues when paired with a Pro 5.0??

Several months ago we replaced the length of the bolt with a shorter one. This may be what's causing the boot to rip, regardless, these are the few cases where it actually rips. I've been running our stick on my own personal vehicle (along with a few other guys here) for several years with no problems.

To you guys with the ripped boots, pull out one of your bolts and measure the length from the BOTTOM of the head to the end of the bolt (only the threaded part of the bolt). It should be 30mm long. If you have the 35mm bolts, let us know and we will send you the shorter ones free of charge.

As far as the short stick, everyone has their own opinion. Some like the stick on the stock Hurst, some like it with the Pro 5.0, others like the slanted sticks...it's all a matter of personal preference. I would advise those who are looking to upgrade your stick or shifter, to find someone with what you are looking for and see how you like it.

Either way, we stand behind our product and if you arent 100% satisfied with it, send it back and we will refund your money.

Thanks to all those who have bought our short stick.

well im not about to go through the hassle of sending it back to you guys to get 25 dollars back. it aint worth all that. But i am disapointed about it hitting my center console. However, I might try and use it later, if/when I get a whole short shifter.

I know our short stick will hit the console on models with the NON-Hurst shifter base. This might be what everyone is running into.

Hope that helps!
