winding when in gear
winding when in gear Just last week my tranny started to make a winding sound when in gear. The throw out bearing is brand new so it shouldn't be that. It seems like the harder im on the gas the louder it gets, and it does it in all gears. The noise sounds like its comming from around the shifter area. I checked the fluid and it fine now, but I was running a little low.

Hmmm, I get no grinding noises. I'd get someone to look at it.
I was getting a loud whinning but it was coming from my rear end. My bearing in my pinion were toast. I just got it fixed today and they put brand hew carrier and pinion bearings. No more whinning....
