Default Polyeurathane tranny mount question

I just installed a Textralia clutch and poly tranny mount along with a tunnel brace mounted torque arm and when i slip the clutch in first gear to get going, the car will vibrate to no end, is this normal for the poly mount or is my clutch bad? if this is what happens with the poly mount, ill put the rubber back in because it feels liek the car is about to vibrate apart

How intense is the vibration? i doubt the problem is the mount....either way to eliminate the mount....reinstall the rubber one and see if you still get the vibration.

did you resulface your flywheel during clutch install?, your describing clutch chatter

usually from burn spots on the flywheel(from hard driving/no resurface during new clutch install.)

otherwise check bracket around the mount is tight. if it is, than its clutch related.

a poly mount will make the car sound like a helicopter when you first install it. usually they just need a few thousand miles to break in and soften up. If still no good, the tranny might be up too high and you may need to remove the preload backing plate from the mount, and possibly shim out the crossmember with washers. I did both.
