Wanting to beef up my t56 I have a 98 z28 with bolt ons and i'm about to get a 224/228 cam with a set of ported ls6 heads. I am going to pull the engine and tranny to do the install. While the transmission is out i figure i might as well take advantage and make some improvements. I am going to uprgrade to a 01+ slave cylinder, mcleod master cylinder and spec 3+ clutch. Can someone give me a good parts list for the transmission. I am planning on leaving my car alone after the heads and cam, except maybe a 100 shot down the road. So far im planning on 3-4 shift fork, all the synchros, all bronze fork pads, and a 3-4 slider key. What am i missing or what is an overkill? I have a good friend who is a GM mechanic with about 10 years experience so he's gonna be helping me out the whole way. By the way everyone should have a gm tech as a friend. Thanks
