T-56 Makeing noises when getiing on it? How much to fix? Yea my tranny is making noises when i get on it. it sounds like a radiling noise. Its not the shifter lose becuse i installed a new on of them and still did it. Not the drive shaft becuse installed a friends. Still does it. How much does it cost to get the tranny rebuilt the best for all high performance everything?

Re: T-56 Makeing noises when getiing on it? How much to fix? Well in my experience with T56s just buy another tranny. Having mine rebuilt has been a pain in the ***. Expect to pay anywhere from $1500 to $2000 for a FULL rebuild. But I doubt everything in there needs do be replaced. Valvegod (check the classifieds) sells rebuilt T56s for $1500, nice to have a spare.
You may want to pull the tranny out and check the clutch, just to eliminate that from being a possibility.
