yep that's what mine did...after a few hundred miles it will move up to about the half way point. i really like my LS7 clutch....i helped a buddy throw and LS7 clutch in a customer car at his shop, and it was the exact same way. they engauge literally right off the floor and move up shortly after....enjoy your LS7 clutch! i love mine!

wow 29 hour install time?!!??? there must be a long story behind that! the LS7 clutch is not even comparable to the piece of junk spec 3 i had.....i love it. it might not be as "track friendly" but for daily driving, (which my car is) it's the best thing out there.
i was mess'n around goin to work today and I slipped it a little in first and revved a bit...let the bitch go and damn i love how it grabs!

Also, right now at 12 miles or so, if I push the clutch ALL the way to the floor I think its still not fully disengaging because if I try to shift fast it wont let me in like it should. Maybe it just needs more break in or does it need to be bleed some more?

IT needs to break in i was flipping out too because i replaced the master and the slave and it was doing that drive it pump the clutch it will break in. The way ken explained it to me is the slave and the pp are close in this application and that is why the clutch grabs so hard so keep driving it. Mine finally cleared up like i posted earlier around 29 miles street miles

yeah that's normal. it's not fully disengauging. i didn't have the problem with not being able to shift fast. but when a friend of mine threw one in a custo car at his shop, it did that exact thing. we just drove down the road and would slip it a little bit to help it along it's way. trust me it should move up on the pedal in no time!
