Question about transmission fluid
Hi im stuck in iceland and i dont have the luxury of coosing my fluid the only trans fluid i can find is "donax TA" automatic transmission fluid can that work with the T-56?

ATF is Automatic Transmission Fluid. The question I believe was what type of automatic transmission fluid to use. There are several different types.
It's supposed to take Dexron3, if you can't find that then either mail order it or take your chances.

well acualy the shop that sells the more expensive ATF's and such was just closed yesterday i decided to just wait and buy syncromesh since ive heard that that is the best

old and good- If you can spend the time to take a long slow read through this thread, I think it pretty much covers most/all options out there today: Which T56 fluid?
I'd think most of these could be obtained via the Internet if it came down to that for you...
...the one I'd pick would definitely be obtained via the Internet...
