Need Help With Ls7 Clutch!!!
I JUST FINISHED MY A4 TO M6 SWAP AND MY CLUTCH FEELS LIKE ITS NOT DISENGUAGING. I BLEED THE HYDROLICS, THE PEDAL FELT A LOT BETTER BUT STILL WON'T SHIFT WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM YET? I KNOW THE PRESSURE PLATE IS SELF-ADJUSTING BUT WAS I SUPPOSED TO ADJUST BACK THE PLATED BEFORE INSTALLING IT OR PUT IT ON RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX??

When i replaced mine it didnt fully disengage and was hard to shift but after 29 miles it was all back to normal i would drive it some thats what i was told to do and it worked for me and i love the clutch

The engagement point will come up soon. Ususally it takes about 200 miles or so. Some people get it sooner. Be nice to it for the first few hundred miles. Let it cycle through a whole bunch. Its an awesome clutch.

Yup, thats the same thing that happend to me and mine still isnt fully disengaging. I have about 350 hwy miles on it and I dont know if its the clutch or the hydraulics so I just keep bleeding. Theres not much else I can do I guess I'll just wait to see what happends after a few more miles.

use the mitivac. The shop bled my clutch the old fashion way because they couldn't find the mitivac. It took them almost 45 min bleed my system. Eventhough alot of hydraulic fluid was pissing out from the bleed screw, there was still alot of air in the system and they was no hydraulic pressure. After they found the mitivac, it took them 10 min to bleed the rest of the air in the system (had to refill the master again cuz their was so much air) and the pedal feels great.
