How does bleeding work???
OK, new clutch, new slave cylinder, flushed all the crap from the hydro line until fluid ran clean. Installed slave cylinder on tranny, reinstalled everything, now no clutch pressure. Now I'm kind of a novice to cracking the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder then pumping the clutch etc but theoretically wouldn't all that fluid get onto the clutch and into the bell housing? I mean there's no place for it to go and there's no inspection cover to remove so...wtf?
Thanks

If you have a stock bellhousing there is a small slot at teh bottom of it for fluid to escape. The fluid should not get all over the clutch, as the slave is sitting a couple inches behind the clutch. I put a remote bleeder on mine, so no fluid goes into the bellhousing. Works good.
