Default Is my clutch dying

Hey everyone long time no see, haven't been on the forums in a long time. Well I have been having an issue with my car. I think it is the clutch but I am not sure. Here is the problem. I press the gas to go faster, and all the sudden it feels like it completly drops in power and it accelerates slower. I think it is my clutch going bad. I don't know if I described the problem correctly if I made it sound complicated I am sorry. Anyways I was looking at replacing the clutch... I am about 53000 miles on the car and I was waundering what a good clutch that could handle around 350 - 450 hp would be and at the same time last me another 50000 miles? Any suggestions? Thanks for help guys.

Youll want the LS7 clutch for sure. When you go in 5th or sixth gear at about 60-70 and you floor it does the rpm's go up, but the cars not accelerating like it should? If so then the clutch is definitely slipping

Slipping, yes that is the word I am looking for. It does it in 2 - 3 and 3 - 4.

Do the rpms rise when you gas it or is it like a hesitation and the car is bogging? You're almost making it seem like you have a clogged cat.

Just go on the hwy and get in 6th gear at 70, punch it and see if the rpm's go up faster than your mph.
