transmission problems (T56) After running 4 or 5 times at the track the transmission starts acting up. It will be hard to shift in to fifth gear and reverse. When I get on the hwy in six gear and stop at light it is hard to get it out of 6 gear. After the Trans cools off everything work normal with know problems.
Does anyone know what is going on the trans?

Re: transmission problems (T56) I had the same problem. Except that my forth gear was the one that was hard to take out. I took it in for warrenty work. They put in a new clutch (which wasnt burnt up like they said) New 3rd 4th and 5th gear syncros, the fly wheel was warped and 4th gear was chipped. They said it was because of neglegence which is a bunch of crap because my sisters car bought from the sale dealer ship the same night did the same things mine did and hers only had 1400 miles on it. So you best bet is to take it in for work... I have a feeling they are going tobe recalled. Mostly the early year 02's are doing this...
