Spec 3+ Flywheel/PP question.
Are the aluminum flywheel and aluminum pressure plate worth it? Any kind of draw back or benefit to using both, or just the flywheel? Any input is appreciated.

If you're not racing your car, you may want to shy away from too much aluminum in this area. You may need to get your engine spinning higher than you like to keep inertia in the drivetrain to get the car moving. This is just my thoughts on it from feedback I've gotten directly from people who went aluminum on a D/D and switched back.

^^ Thats what I've always heard (I'm not offering any opinion based on that statement though)
But I DID ask this same question to East Side Performance (sponsors) and they said the gains are so minimal that for my purposes to stay with steel and save the cash.
I had a 9lb flywheel (down from 22lbs) in my last car (ford probe); it revved extremly fast but lost inertia up hills fairly quickly. It was fun but not worth the cash.
