Default Weird stalling and surging...?

I had my LS7 clutch installed about 400 miles ago. For the second time since the install, I have walked out to my car to find it wont start. Also there is no power. Its almost like my battery is dead. Actually its exactly like that. So I got out and played with the battery cables and the power comes back on. But when I turn the car on, it surges and I have keep pushing the gas to keep it alive. If I dont give it gas, it will dip below 500, then surge back up to 800 a couple times, then just die. My battery is less than a year old so I dont think it can be that. This is the first time I have experienced this. It happened 2 weeks ago, then everything was fine untill tonight. Any ideas what it could be?

Well if your manipulating the cable ends to start it I would go there.
Are the terminal ends dirty, acid coated? Lots of the original delco batterys leaked from the terminal area of the case.
can you get the terminals tight enough so they wont more anymore?

Same thing happened to me. Clean your battery terminals. Problem solved.

The surging and all that mess is just your computer relearning after it lost power. That's all normal. Fix your battery issue and you're good.
