Question Question on how to bleed the LS7

Hey guys here is the deal I just installed the new LS7 clutch, flywheel, pilot bearing and T/O bearing w/ Slave cylinder and I am having a hard time bleeding the system. I bought the mity-vac but really don't know how to use it or if i am using it properly.
When I have the car shut off I can go through the gears without much difficulty but when i start the car up I can't find any of the gears and I can only get it in 1st and 4th and when i try to roll alittle in 1st in the garage it engages right off the floor like people said. I just don't know what to do I probably need to bleed it but could someone tell me how to correctly because I am not 100% sure how. Should I take it out for a ride even though right now I can only get it in 1st gear in the garage I have not tried to drive it down the road yet, I just don't know where to go from here. Thanks guys for you help and instructions on how to take care of this problem.

This is what I did to bleed my new ls7 clutch, slave etc.

Disconnect the line that goes in the slave from the master cyl
Push the center of the line so fluid comes out with a small screw driver.
have someone slowly push and hold the clutch to the floor, remove your screw driver, release the clutch.
check the master cycl, fill if necessary.
Repeat 2-3 times.

Connect the line to the slave.

Then, pump the clutch 10-15 times hold clutch to the floor and crack the bleeder, close the bleeder.
repeat till you get a good pedal.(CHECK YOUR master cyl so it does not go dry)

Using the mity vac did not work for me.

Took about 20-30 minutes to get good pedal on my old car using this method.

Just try the might vac like we talked about. It worked fine with my LS7 install.

Took me a whole 15 minutes with it.

i did the whole crack bleed procedure with my SPEC clutch and took me about 30 minutes...when my LS7 went in ... i went out and bought the Mity Vac and followed the instructions that were posted on here...worked like a charm and only took about 5 minutes!

I've never seen instructions like that before. That does sound easy, looks like I'll be buying a mity vac before my next clutch swap.
