Angry SPEC 3+ problems

So I got the new SPEC 3+ clutch and flywheel put in at a SPEC dealer/installer and it was starting to slip in only 5th and 6th gears. They took it apart today and found that the outside of the clutch and flywheel have a groove in them. The inside or the closest to the center of the Flywheel looks brand new.

Anyone have any ideas on this? I am going to get some pics up soon, and also send them to SPEC for them to look at. I just can't spend another 600-700 on a clutch again.

Problem is fixed.
The groove was cut in the clutch/flywheel by a small part of the clutch coming apart and the spec guys said it was no big deal.
The clutch was slipping because of the shim spec sent and the setup height was incorrect using the shim.
We took it out and now everything is great.
Just figured I would post this incase inyone was interested.

I keep hearing about issues witht the shims Spec sends. Isn't there just a standard shim that would take care of all the clutches? Would be better just get an adjustable master instead of dealing wioth the shims? Just wondering as this maybe my next clutch. And if anyone knows what size of shim should one be receiving?
