I have a Pro 5.0 with a cut down handle and a grey/charcoal Sparco suede (now matted down) "anatomic" **** on it (to go with my Sparco suede steering wheel). I also have a graphite colored Hurst leather **** in case I get tired of the Sparco.

No,
It will not fit. Did you not see my post in this thread?
To get a T56 **** from the 03/04 cobras to fit, you must use the pro 5.0 shifter STICK for the 03/04 cobra, and then you can use the cobra ****.
I don't think you can even change the stick on the B&M one......

I completely agree. I've been through all the LSS and others(still have them sitting in my garage)
I am sold on the theory you need some stick in order to really powershift the car. I know that technically the shift pattern is shortened the shorter the stick, but when you get as short as some of the short sticks out there, you leave yourself no leverage to push against. In effect, you make yourself shift with just your wrist/maybe arm instead of your entire body....that's no good in my book.

Yep thats true. I cant believe some if the short sticks some guys use. I dont see how You could powershift good with a really short stick. My buddy had a pro5.0 shifter with a short stick and I couldn't get a decent powershift out of it. I could see using a short stick for auto Xing but for good consistant dragracing use about stock lenght is good IMO.
I swear everybody copied me on the black Hurst pistol grip! I put mine on in the beginning of May. I put in a Hurst Billet plus shifter and at the time had a black MBA SS ****. It was a bit tall so I ordered up a WS6 store 6" short stick and then it seemed TOO short with the MBA ball on there. I ordered up the black Hurst pistol grip and it's almost perfect now. I think if it was about another inch shorter it would be ideal. The pistol grip is just so comfortable and natural feeling it seems weird that it's really an aluminum ****. Aluminum does suck when it's hot and sunny out! I'm suprised I don't have SS or Hurst burned into my hand between the two *****.
