#1 mine worked very decent (s3 carbon is the one i reccomend)
#2 no factory hydraulics, though if you have high mileage it is reccomended to replace with new factory parts.

So stage 3 carbon with OEM 02 hydraulics will be plenty of clutch for a daily driver occassional racer.... stock clutch didnt last but 2500 miles, getting a dealer tech to cover it under warranty doing the switch-a-roo with an aftermarket clutch thats will be sitting in the trunk

I`ve had a Star S2 with carbon fiber disk for a year and a half with no problems.I did put in "01" slave and master cyl. after having problems with stock hydrolics in my 99TA.

Mine worked good for about 4 months under normal driving and minor street racing on regular tires. However, once racing season came I bolted up a set of MT ET Streets and it didn't take long for the STAR stage III w/carbon disk to die. My personal opinion, I vote for "POS".

I have the Spec III Kevlar and love it. It took about 1000 miles for it to break-in all the way. It grabs like hell and you can slip it all day long and beat the hell out of it.

My s3 w/carbon lasted 7 months before it was wore down to the rivets. And that was with Nittos.

My stage 5 iron is working good so far on the street, and I am track testing it this weekend.
