clutch parts
I will be replacing my clutch w/ Ram level 4 powergrip HD (600hp) and Ram steel billet flywheel. I will replace pilot bearing, Ram high flow slave cylinder and throw out bearing. do I need to replace master cylinder with an adjustable one? or will non-adj. do? what are the pro/cons on adj/non adj master cylinders? all this for my 2001 ws6. 418 rwhp 389 rwtq. reason for r/r to much hp/tq for stock clutch that it slips when shifting from 2 to 3 on the strip. any info would be appreciated.

i went ahead and bought the adjustable master by mcleod and since it was with the stock clutch it had issues, or so im told thats why.....i was recommended a spec 5 and i have stock hydraulics and it drives fine with the exception of the chatter when shifting sometimes....other than that i hit the lifespan of the clutch which i believe is rated for 10k miles...some minor slip in 5th unless i hammer it but on the 1/4 3rd and 4th slip....this is my experience for you to establish some sort of base...
