Default $200 clutch and 13lb chromoly FW are in

Did the swap this weekend. I gave it a little bit of action in 1st and it felt strong but I haven't given it hell yet. So far I'm liking it.

The clutch is way smoother than the Spec 3 but still has a nice quick engagement. No chattering thank god.

I def like the flywheel. Since the clutch doesn't chatter, it's actually easier to drive than it used to be with the Spec 3 and stock FW. Yes, you have to rev it a little more to get it moving but it's only like 500 rpms more and since it revs faster, you don't even really notice.

Once I give it a chance to break in some, I'll give it a good thrashing and report the results.

Some of the bolt holes in the PP where too tight for the bolts that attach it to the FW. A result of some sloppy painting but no big deal. The sloppy paint job is all I have to say that is negative so far.

In the last thread about this clutch, an admin said it was ok to talk about but that was when people were saying unfounded bad stuff about it so we'll see what happens here.

I'm not going to post detailed info on where I got the clutch and FW.

That's a damn light flywheel, should rev up quick. Keep us updated when you get a chance to give it hell.

What brand flywheel? Did it come with the clutch?

The FW didn't come with the clutch. The answer to your other question is above.

I gave it some action through 1st gear today and all is still good.
I forgot to mention that the pedal effort is very light and nice. A lot lighter than the spec 3 (which wasn't that bad).
