Is my clutch bad? I did the test where im in the car in 6th gear at like 40mph and stomp on it and the rpm's didnt jump up or anything the car just started pulling. So its not slipping. The reason i ask is the clutch feels extremely light and i have to push it all the way to the floor to engage it. If im in first at a stop, almost as soon as i start to let the clutch out it starts to disengage and pull. Is my clutch bad or is it something else?
Well if you have a LTx or LSx camaro it has a hydraulic clutch.
You may have a problem in that system, air leaking etc. Need to check it out. make sure nothing is seeping fluid, then possibly just bleed the system out & it will improve.
