Default Do I need a new master cylinder?

In my 98 z28 the clutch went out so, as was second gear. The hydralics worked fine til clutch went bad. I am going to put a new slave in it, but is the master cylinder neccessary. T56 rebuids did the trans and I'm using a spec clutch. Also have a new SFI flywheel. Thanks guys

it wouldnt hurt to do it as it has been updated since 98 for better perfomance and less issues. at the least i would drill the restrictor out
