Keith...IMHO go with the Textralia EXO-SKEL... ...You won't be disappointed. Next time I see ya out I'll let ya drive the SS. By far the best aftermarket clutch that has EVER been in the car.

PUREVL has been running one all spring & summer on his 800HP+ 800TQ+ setup. From what I've heard it's quite a bit more street friendly than the 5 and holds without issue. Maybe he will chime in w/ more info. though.

Here are some pics. I drove the Exo skel and the SPEC dual. I like the SPEC dual alot more.Pedal pressure is stock,engagement-smooth. Exo was alot stiffer and more chatter. Both will hold the power.

They do have them now.I think the price is $1600 for the one pictured MSRP. and the stronger one is $2400 MSRP.I could be wrong. We have the top of the line one in a 427ci Procharged car and it's worth every penny so far.

Keep in mind that these cars we have a history of going through 2-3 clutches a year on them due to the extreme driving on the street and a ton of track passes. The dual SPECs are the only clutch that has lasted a full year so far in each car. That is worth the extra $$ right there.

Damn that is even higher than textralia, I am not saying it is not worth it, but it is just more than I expected. Thanks alot for the info.

I honestly cannot imagine a more stock feeling/smoother clutch than the Exo-Skel...? I just replaced my single disc Spec 5 and there is absolutely no comparison. So the DD Spec 5 is smoother and has better pedal pressure than the single disc Spec 5?

I can't imagine the Exo having a stiffer feel than the DD Spec? This Textralia feels like a stock clutch and its cheaper...

Whose car was the exo-skel in, and when did you drive it? Like DJ said said, I can't imagine one being stiff or chattering...

It will be easier next year to compare notes when these Exo's get some miles and some serious abuse. The pads look the same as a SPEC. So far we have put about 10k on ours with probly 40 passes so far without a hint of problems. This does not mean we will have any problems though. In the past we have destroyed alot of high price clutch setup's,so time will tell.I'm also keeping up on the Exo in my buddies car to report how that makes out

I just e-mailed spec and they quoted me $1399 and $1599 respectively on special. Just a little FYI.

I've sold around 120 of the OZs alone since September 2005 and I know A&A has sold quite a bit also. Out of those sales probably I've had 5-10 issues due to installation errors?
What are the instalation errors? I am really considering the EXO-SKEL if my RAM parts are shot like I told you on the phone. Are there any special instructions for installing the EXO-SKEL? Special shim for the slave? Do not use a shim for the slave?? Can I get a copy of the instructions?
Thanks Young
