ANOTHER CLUTCH QUESTION I need to replace my clutch. I have a 98 camaro with the t56. I have decided to go with a z06 clutch, because it won't see that much track time, and I want it easy to drive.
My question is part #'s. I am finding many different part #'s. I have found two different z06 clutch packs. 12562765 and a 12570806 recommended on different sites. What's the difference? The dealer doesnt know. Also it appears I need to use a 12570277 master, is that correct? And the slave, there has been a recomendation for a 15046288 and a 12564145, then I went to the dealer and they said I need a 12565144, saying it is the new version?
Do I still need to do the drill modification to the new slave line? Or have they fixed that problem? Also I've seen on here that people have picked up a z06 clutch pack for around 300.00. I would like to know how. My dealer wants 500.00 retail, I do get 30 off list, but just want to make sure I'm not paying too much.
