Slave Cylinder replacement About time to get my car on the road, but want to swap slave cylinders before installing the new engine. Now, is there a difference between the Ram slave cylinder and the GM 01+? I have the Ram adjustable master, and stock slave on the car right now, didn't even know about the drill mod at the time. =\ Will I be able to perform that, and replace the slave cylinder relatively easy with the engine out?

I think from what I've gathered is GM only installed the restrictor on the master cylinder side of the line. And I've also heard that theres only 1 manufacturer of slaves in the USA I bought the cheap one from advance for 66 bucks (after military discount)

Hmmm... I just didn't want to end up with another "99 style" slave cylinder that doesn't work worth a damn. Your slaves came with throwouts right? $66 is pretty damn cheap.

From what I've heard they are all the same thing made by the same manufacturer. Mine came with an O ring and the actual slave with the throwout bearing. That sucks that yours went out right away. I'd be pissed since I dont want to be pulling my tranny again untill this new clutch is done
