i don't know 4th gen t-56's and my 94 needs a new one so can i use a 97 t-56 or will i run into probs?

thanks

i plan on useing a ls1 aluminum driveshaft as well

You should be fine with the transmission. I believe your problem would be if you used an LS1 Tranny, which has a different bellhousing, among other things.

I am not sure about the driveshaft.

driveshaft i've read is a common swap so i'm good to go

You may want to be sure that '97 box has the iron 3/4 upgrade(at least) and use only an ATF fill if the blockers have not been changed to the carbon-particle lined parts.

pshh like the guy i'm buying it from is gonna know that lol

its used and i'm actually getting it froma guy whos local but on here i can try and ask him lol
