I did this a few years back as Nine Ball suggested and I have not had a mushy pedal ever since. At first we thought it was that we were simply overpowering the clutch's ability. Turns out the damn line just got too hot. I used aluminum tape and cut in half some 3/8" rubber fuel line and it's worked great for 3 or so years now.
