Default Clutch and Hydraulics...

Hey guys Im about to put in a spec stage 3 and a new slave. My question is, I went to Oreilly's and got on priced at like 80 bucks which is fine. Its listed under the 98 z28 which is what my car is. Im not still getting the old slave am I? Surely they have upgraded by now and still just list it as a 98? Someone let me know whats up and if anyone has a slave laying around let me know also. Plus, I'm putting the clutch in myself so what should I be sure to watch out for. I got it from a member and it has 10k on it with plenty of life left and it never slipped once. My car only puts down like 300 to the wheels if I'm lucky. Also I'm only getting the clutch and pressure plate and I'm going to remachine my ls1 flywheel. What else will I need besides the pilot bearing? Thanks in advance to all replies...Josh.

Why not have them pull the slave from a 2002 and compare? If not the same, buy the one for the 2002.

Is there a part number on the part you have? That would help identify which one you ended up with. Although if it is not a GM or AC Delco part we may not be able to tell you.
