t56 input change

t56 input change i am going to be changing the input and front cover in my LT1 tranny to the LS1 style. I have a few questions.
1. Do you torque teh tailsahft or front cover first?
2. How do you change the 3-4 shift fork, i want to put the steel one in.
3. Is it worth it to put bronze fork pads in at all?
4. Can I take the reserve lock out off, or should i try to retro fit it in my 81 z28?
5. Is there anything else you recommend me changing? (i am going to change the input bearing and seal, and the output seal)
