centerforce dfx

i installed a dfx about 3 months ago it worked fine did my 500 mile breakin now on the spray its starting to slip. i did not install the shim behind the throwout bearing. the engagement point is at the stop would installing the shim to bring down the engagement point help or am i just screwed

The shim just allows the clutch to be released further to aid in shifting problems. It has nothing to do with how well the clutch holds.

how much power are you putting down with spray. i was thinking of going with this clutch for my car. but decided to go with the LS7 instead. im putting down around 430-450 with spray

Yea I am curious of this to because my buddy(TARZAN) has this clutch and his is still holding fine that I know of.

mine didn't even come with a shim.

it's holding great, I have about 3000 miles on it and my mods are in the sig. i don't have dyno numbers yet, but they are coming soon

im putting down 450 and it spikes at 630 tq it held for several passes but lately it deffiantly doesnt hit as hard and you can smell the clutch afterwards
have you guys been having the chattering still also

full 500 miles took it easy daily driven. right after it though i wont lie it was on the dyno for 2 days then about 4 bottles put through it on the track
