Default Drag Racers: Type F ATF in T56?

Preface: I am aware that Type F ATF does not meet the manufacturer's specs...that's NOT the question I'm asking.

Does anybody have any thoughts on trying Type F ATF in a T56? I think it might provide a little extra "bite" on the syncros to help it shift better when power shifting. Would there be any issues with Type F's lubrication properties or other material incompatibility issues within a T56?

RAACCR- Not sure if the following link will help you out at all with your questions, but it can't hurt:

1998 Camaro 6 speed: ATF or Synchromesh?

Hope you find the answer to your questions!

Ask someone like LS1Joe @ T-56 rebuilds that puts trannies together for a living, and drives the **** out of them for fun.
