The oz700 here, with 550rwhp 636rwtq and 200 sprayed passes. Still works and drives like a charm. Currently running ET Streets and 3.42s. Tex all the way, you'll never find a better company and the service is #1. My buddy has the Mcleod twin, and that thing is a bitch in city driving, you better have some Arnold Swartz type legs. He also needs to get it rebuilt and/or replaced as spraying it has caused it to slip one to many times.

^^^ I have a McLeod Twin, and its not a problem driving in the city at all. My buddy has a Ram Twin, that thing SUCKS. STIFF and its very loud when its just sitting there idling with your foot off the clutch, sounds like its falling apart.

Tonight I installed my Tex OZ700. had it sitting next to the McLeod Street Twin and we chose the Tex over the McLeod. Upgraded the slave and the new adj. master is on it's way. I only drove it around the city block twice. Definately noticed it grabbed much harder than that Centerforce DF I had in it and definately an easy pedal to work with.

the RAM is just a stocker with the end modified to be adustible... and while tolerances can build either way, and potentially allow you to adjust the pedal to the point where you overthrow the clutch.... it is unlikely.

Has anyone changed there mind at all? I have a turbo 408 that should do 700-750 rwhp maybe more once I find a clutch to hold it. I have been leaning toward the Mcleod setup but lots of chosen the Exo-Skel Dual. How has the stock Master been holding up for people using the Exo-Skel Dual? I like the idea of an aluminum flywheel that Text does not have yet. Is there a big difference between the steel and aluminum?
I know this topic has been beaten to death but a few more opinions never hurts.

A friend of mine has a Mcleod and he is doing 850rwhp and says he would never go with a different clutch. I should be running about 700rwhp and about 750 torque will the Text hold it or do you stay with the proven Mcleod? Or is it the luck of the draw

I really would like to buy a clutch that is going to last a little bit and can handle the power. The Exo-Skel sounds awesome so if no one has had regrets I may just have to give it a try.

MY Exo-skel has seated in nicely and seems to be holding quite well.
I have the RAM adj. master and it engages right at the top no problems, except some chatter once in a while.
I like the kewl sound this clutch makes while disengaged at idle.

i run the mcleod street twin with the stock hydralics. i have never had any problems at all and i daily drive my car to and from EVERY day, rain or shine... its been on countless road trips, it just is an awesome clutch!! ive put about 10k miles on it and i also bought it used with 5k on it... its holding awesome with no problems!!

I have one of those bad *** LUK performance gold clutches in my Z06 making 520 rwhp and it doesn't miss a lick. I don't know why you guys worry about these dual disc thingies because you don't need them!!!
OK I am just kidding. That clutch won't hold my car, so I just bought the EXO-SKEL from BYUNSPEED this morning. I'll let you know how it works after I get it installed and broken in. I just bought this car and have been hiding from people wanting to race. It makes me sick!! I had a rich ***** in a Ferrari pull up on me today and I almost threw up in my mouth because I couldn't tear a hole in his *** with my ( relatively cheap ) ride. When the clutch is in, all rich ****** in Ferrari's must die!!!

I just wanted to come back in here and convey ONCE AGAIN my DEEPEST LOVE for my ExoSkel....GODDAM I LOVE THIS CLUTCH!....my rear screams when I let off the clutch pedal...

I just took out my Mcleod street twin to send back for inspection & balancing. I was real impressed with the construction. It only has around 3000 miles and 20 or less 1/4 mile passes.
