I love it I couldnt imagine having a 4l60e. Hell the one in my lt1 caprice 9c1 is dying from the little power it puts out, in my camaro it'd be shot! Also driving an automatic I dont feel like I'm driving, moreso the cars driving me and I'm just steering and hitting the gas!

I love mine, would never have a car like it with an automatic. I also have never had any problems out of the tranny either. I don't race, or go to the track so I pretty much hate/don't have a need for automatics.

However my truck is an automatic and it shifts too much. Can't help it though, I just turn the overdrive off until highway driving and it fixes it.

I also am a fan of road course racing, so I like the twisties, not the straight line. Another point for standards in general.

I love it except for the syncros. Ive heard to get the steel shift fork and the upgraded syncros. I have yet to do this but other than that no complaints. I still works fine. Nothing like an m6 on the street. Dragracing et's, well, an auto will keep you more constant if that is what you are after.

Had a `94 Formula A4 and liked it.
Ordered a `98 Formula M6 and never looked back.

112k and still on the original Clutch.

I had so many problems with my M6 and the related components that I put a TH 400 in the car. I didn't think I'd like the auto, but I do.

Autos are for straight line and thats not all these cars are for in my opinion.

Which is why i swaped from an automatic to manual in my '92 camaro.

Even though my reverse is iffy and the throwout bearing rattles sometimes i love it to DEATH over a god damn boring automatic...

Never trade it.

Imagine I upgrade to a stalled auto.
I run a 10.

OK, then what?

I wanna do it with the 6, then try and do it again.
Now thats good times.

When I was looking for my car to buy it had to be a ta/formula and m6, gladly passed up many nice autos. Was it worth it hell yeah, wouldn't change it for anything, remember "Real Racecars Have 3 Pedals" Joe@T56rebuilds.

Thumbs up

A4= Awsome for the track, very consistent, easier to launch.

T56= More of a challenge, not as consistent, but way more fun.

When I purchased my goat I asked myself(Am I going to drag race this thing more than one time a month? Naaahh, I'll get the t56 ) The t56 is waaaay more fun on the street than the a4.

If I wanted to drag race more than driving on the street, I would of got an LS1 F-body with an A4. I will still buy one one of these days and use it for the track and the street once in a while
