I wouldn't take an auto. When i was looking for my Z i told everybody i wouldn't settle for one without a 6 speed and it had to have t-tops. The only 2 things i really cared about. I had a '00 V6 and it was an auto with no tops. Drove me NUTS. Got the Z and wouldn't look back. i don't mind shifting. My buddy always says it seems like too much work he just likes Grand Prix's with auto's lol I don't mind having to fix stuff if it breaks. It's all good.~Cole~

T56 all the way, In my opion autos are way to boring. Its alot of fun to let them launch first then pull them in second gear!

Ditching mine come the fall, sick of wasting 3 out of 5 runs at the track because I didnt get the PERFECT start and shifts. Who cares about shifting on the street, I have too many tickets to drive sprirtedly anyway.

I love driving the t56, but I have had a lot of trouble with them. I just put a used tranny in and need to do the drill mod. At least my new clutch is holding good.

Love A4's and M6's for both of their individual advantages. Went from a stalled a4 to a M6 and I love the change. As long as I am a good driver it wont smoke up

I love it. It's main attribute is 27+observed mpg and not many girls can drive it that I have talked to so they just dont ask on dates as well as the fact that no retards call it slow b/c its an auto. That one got on my nerves when I had my auto LT1.

When I bought my car it HAD to be a 6 speed. I need to shift and love to shift. I like controlling my speeds with the gears sometimes. Keeps me from hitting the brakes all of the time. Plus I am in the right gear to get the jump should I need to move in traffic. Like others said I like controlling the RPM's for exhaust noise when cruising and playing around. It is just a lot of fun. Yeah the hydraulics are not ideal but things will need fixing when playing with high HP cars. 94k and have only had to replace trans fluid and the rear yoke seal on the trans. I have smoked a few C5 vettes just by hitting my shifts right. It is fun!

Auto trannys are for grandmas Buick and bracket racing. I run heads up off the two step at about 6 grand wheels up and jaws hit the ground when they find out all I got is a stock shortblock H/C 346 and a 6 speed running all motor, no power adders...for now. Took my trans out today and took back to Liberty to go Faceplate engagement and ditch the proshift rings.

I bought my car with an A4 with a 3600 stall and loved it, It launched HARD on the street with the Stalled A4, I think thats all I miss about it haha. I have had quite a few issues with my M6 swap, but now that I have gotten most of the bugs worked out I love bangin gears! Although if I get another DD, ill be going Th400 with a brake.

Had a 94 z28 auto.. regretted it. When I had the opportunity to shop for an LS1, I made sure it was m6. I just enjoy shifting. More fun to cruise around in, and I no longer get made fun of for resting my hand on the suto shifter hehe.

I used to have an M6 in mine. It was alright, but wasn't the "holy moly this is super fun!" for me that some people feel about them. I have much more fun with my reverse manual valve body th350 (4k stall) than I ever did with my M6. I wouldn't switch back to a M6, even if somebody else offered to pay for everything

I loved the 6spd when it was bolt on's now that I am making more power, and changed the clutch it has been nothing but problems for the last year. It will be finally fixed next week, then hopefully I can start to enjoy rowing the gears.

Nothing beats a smooth heal-toe down shift going into a corner. I never feel like I'm DRIVING an auto car.

My T-56 is still going strong too!
