Has anyone found a way to change the first gear ratio in the T-56 to the Z06?

At ttcautomotive.com/products/t-56.asp there is a listing of available t-56 transmissions/gear ratios/torque capacities.

There is no way you can bolt one into an F-body.

The guy I talked to say there is no actual difference (other than the ratios and the input shaft) in the Viper and our T-56. I am now going on my 5th T-56
No, the ratios in the Viper T56 are the same. The input shafts are different. So is the synchro material I think.

Uh, What?
That stuff in Bold is a quote a few spots higher. He says the ratios are different in the Viper which they are not. I stated the ratios are the same and that the input shaft and synchro material are different from the T56 in F-bodies.
I did,however, go through 4 T56 trannies due to 2 sets of synchro problems, and some things the techs at the Pontiac dealership couldn't answer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> .
They actually tried to say one of the "unexplainables" was the Pro 5.0 shifter <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> .

I am building a road racer and would like to have a closer ratio gearbox. I am starting with a '99 T56 and would like to put the .8 5th and the .62 6th in my 'box. Has anyone done this?
Here is the chart for my application. (3.73 diff, 25" Tire, shift at 6200)
Gear Ratio Speed Pickup_RPM
1 2.66 46.5
2 1.78 69.5 4149
3 1.3 95.2 4528
4 1 123.8 4769
5 0.8 154.7 4960
6 0.62 199.6 4805

Sorry that chart didn't line up worth a shiznit, but you can get the idea. I'll eventually be changing engine internals to allow me to spin a bit higher RPMs. This is going to be in a 2400# car, so I am not going to need tons of gear to get the thing up and going.
