Default clutch disc material

doing class research and note for thought. I'm looking into carbon-carbon clutches and am wondering the advantages and disadvantages to having one while. Wether it's racing, daily driving, etc. Anything you know of or heard of feel free to share. Thanks Again!

The main advantages of a carbon/carbon clutch are low weight and tolerance to extreme heat. The coefficient of friction of carbon on carbon actually goes up as it heats up. This makes for a clutch that is very tolerant to slipping. The downside is that they are very expensive.
