Default ls7 clutch part# problems

I have been cross referencing ls7 clutch part#'s to no avail. I have looked at several different gm parts dealers online and every place references the numbers to new and different numbers, all of which are different from site to site. If you catch my drift.

I have been looking up three different part numbers for this thing.
-24233650 which I found on this site
-24236500 also found here
-24237690 found on several different sites

I would like to believe that 24237690 is correct because I have found more places using this as the part number.

for example:

At gmprtsdirect, 24233650 and 24233650 cross reference to 24238412

According to other sites 24238412 does not exist

when I looked up 24237690 at gmpartsdirect it was found but, was a different price than the 24238412 which was referenced from 24233650 and 24233650

What the *** is going on???????
What is the correct part number??????
Are these part numbers for the clutch plate and pressure plate?????

I am starting to get pissed off.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I have been going thru the same issue with ordering my Ls7 clutch kit. Apparently the number updated to 24238412 and the clutch is actually cheaper now...lol....go thru scoggin dickey and it will cost about $281 for the disc and pressure plate, dont forget to get an ls2 flywheel and replace the slave and master with the updated 01-02 parts.

Yes, a new slave from O'reilly's would include the throwout bearing.. I believe $81.99 would be the price..
