Hey, after driving my car for some time, the clutch fluid gets very dark. . .
Any idea what's causing this?
Last thing I did to my setup was the Mcleod Master Cyl.
BTW, clutch seems to be operating fine.
I'm using Carquest Dot3.

Typically it turns dark from the heat. Try moving your slave line as far away from your headers/manifolds as possible. I usually flush my system about once a month. Just use a lil turkey baster to suck the resivoir about half empty and fill with fresh fluid. Pump the clutch a few times to circulate the fluid and repeat until the fluid stays clear. My car seems to shift better with fresh fluid.

sounds like heat's the cause. . .just installed the headers, and the temperature here in chitown is constantly hitting 90+
