Where's my stuff! Mine says shipped or billed on 10/27/06 Billing information has been sent to UPS. Check site later for updated shipment status or contact shipper for more details. How much longer. I ordered on Sept 20th.

Steve, I found the issue with your order. You can send me a PM for details if you want.

Yours went out, and I will PM you the tracking number.

To everyone else: All Exo-skels on the byunspeed GP that we recived orders for have shipped and are in route. They were physically hand delivered to the UPS depot to ensure they went out as quickly as possible.

If anyone wants to send us a mail directly send it to admin@textralia.com.au This is the fastest way to get us. Sometimes there is a day or so between when we get on the forum and check PM's...

Again, I want to apologize for the delay. Between being held up in customs, being gone to SEMA, and then checking everything, this took a LOT longer than we had planned. Our goal is to have plenty of stock in place so this never happens again. It just takes time to get stuff here from Australia. If we go by ship, its 8 weeks from the time it leave till it gets here.

Trust me when I say, you don't want to see the shipping bill when you have to airfreight a clutch from Australia...

Don't do group purchases unless you are really strapped for cash. Some of the people in on this gp could have gotten their product weeks ago at regular price from a stocking vendor.

Two things I need to clear up for everyone.

First, The Exo-Skel shipment was held up in customs, then by the SEMA show. So, all Exo-skels be they GP or non-gp had the same wait time. If you want to be mad at anyone, you can direct your anger at us. We wanted to get this product out to everyone weeks ago, its just simply we were delayed in being able to do so by un-avoidable circumstances. For that inconveniece, we are truly sorry. The long and the short of it is that if I had to delay the shipment agian to make sure the clutches are right before they ship, I will do so again. I'd much prefer folks be upset with me for making sure it right and being delayed an extra few days, than to have a problem because we failed to check or validate some part of the process on something.

Two, The ARP bolts are taller than the GM bolts, and we have found they will hit the disc. Put the heads side by side and you can see it. So, unless you cut down the height of the ARP's head, you have to use the GM bolts.

We made ARP aware of this, and are currently following up with an application engineer at ARP to have bolts made per our spec, or to have the ARP fastener made shorter for GM applications..

Again, I just want everone to understand that we are always here anytime for you guys. If you have a question/comment/concern/gripe or anything else we need to attend to, send them 24/7/365 to:

OK. New question: The local parts store has GM Flywheel bolts, but they are not LS1 specific, they are just GM flywheel bolts. So, are these the bolts I need, or are the LS1 flywheel bolts specific to the LS1??
Thanks.

Man that sucks about the ARP bolts and would have really sucked if I had installed it today as this is the first anyone mentioned about the ARP's. I really like having the better quality fastener in there. I was installing it tomorrow, but I'll have to buy the GM bolts Monday i guess. Since I already have the ARP's and don't have any stock bolts to compare to, how much would need to be ground off?

I wouldn't grind any off the ARP bolts. The area of the 12 point bolt that the socket grabs are not very big. If I were to grind any off the heads, I would be affraid of increasing the risk of rounding them off. Much as I hate it; I will go to the GM dealerships 30 mins from here tomorrow afternoon and get some bolts. It has been such a long wait, what is a few more days to get it right?

And of course non of the GM dealerships in the 2 cities near here carry flywheel bolts . Had the parts guy at the Pontiac dealership order some. The cool thing is, he will have them delivered to the little auto parts store here in town so I don't have to drive 30 mins .
