Textralia help?
Thanks!
Ive been using my OZ700 for over a year now...circa 4-4500 road miles and perhaps 40+ passes.
It drives superbly, and seems to grip equally as well.
. I have to travel to England or Scotland if I want to race, which is a major PITA.Crail in Scotland, or Santa Pod, Avon Park ( Shakespeare county raceway ) or Elvington airfield in York.
There is also Melbourne Raceway in York, although Ive never raced there yet. Might try and get there next year.
Not so sure Im a hardcore racer....I only do it as and when I can afford to get over. But I sure enjoy it !!!!
Transam...no shims required for the Tex.

Mine came complete with new slave, flywheel, plate, cover etc etc.
No shims, and intended for use with factory master ( although mine isnt due to a LS1 conversion )
If the clutch is designed for the car properly, why would you need shims ??? GM certainly dont use them.
You should really contact Textralia about your problem.

Must admit, it looks pretty damn cool....but I just cant help thinking its massive overkill.
Then again, the price on it isnt bad either.
The OZ700 performs superbly and plenty are pushing it well beyond the 700lbft rating. I'd say Im in and around that. If it ever gives me trouble, I will upgrade to the Exo-Skel, but not until then I think.
The boys from Australia are currently in the States heading to the SEMA show (they stopped by the new AFR facility late Friday). It may take them a few days to get back to you so I would encourage you to be patient. I will see them at the show as well and will mention there are probably a few PM's waiting for them.
Thanks,
Tony

Yeah mine came complete too. like urs. I am stumped now and dont want to pay a shop to finish it up cause I want to know and be able to do it and only be able to blame myself is something is messed up. Plus I go no clue how much it would cost to finish it up here in Hawaii.
I know Tex rant and rave about their alloy flywheel process....but based on my experience with a MCleod street twin a few years ago, I wouldnt have an alloy flywheel again.
The friction surface that was fitted warped like a banana. The clutch still gripped, and felt fine..but I still didnt like it when I found out.
