just installed a ram clutch into a 2000 transam. This is the first clutch I have installed and now that the car is back together, the car moves before i take my foot off of the clutch pedal when in gear. What did i do wrong???

did you bleed the hydrolic system? If not I would start there. Im not sure about the ram but does it have a shim?

I take it you have 2 cars. 2001 & 2002? I was thinking that you were putting a clutch into an A4 when I looked at your sig.

Anyway...Your engagement is all out of whack. Did you happen to get an adjustable master? If so, is it turned all the way in or out for adjustment? you will be able to compensate if you did. Also.... If it did come with it, that shim didn't come in the box for packing reasons. I have done an install without the shim and it caused a hydraulic nightmare.

I just put a RAM clutch in my '98 WS6. There was a shim that had to be put on between the slave and the trans.

My clutch did start to disengage AS SOON as you lifted up on the pedal, but it has gotten better since.

Sounds like you didn't put the shim behind the slave.
