Wrong Pro-5.0?
Wrong Pro-5.0? A while back I bought a used Pro-5.0 Power Tower shifter.I used it for a time but it hangs up from 2nd to 3rd.When leaving 2nd and I get to neutral it doesn't want to spring back to center position to line up with 3rd.Sometimes...it like binds sometimes.The thought occured to me maybe its the wrong shifter for 6spd Fbodys...is that possibe?There are no numbers stamped on it,could it be for a GM 5spd maybe or a Mustang?Anyone have any knowledge on this?Thanks.

I called the factory today and was told that if the shifter moves freely when out of the car,the the problem is some return spring in the transmission.Could be maybe but the washer thing is worth trying.Thanks!
