Default T56 just hanging out

About a year ago, I got a T56 from T56Rebuilds...Great people to deal with BTW. Well, It's been sitting around. Should I put some fluid in it and turn it to prevent anything from seizing/corroding? It hasn't been turned since I received it. I just want to rpevent any future problems when the car satrts driving in another year or so. Thanks!

Plug the output with duct tape, and protect the pilot journal from rust( coat it with grease). This assumes you are not leaving it outside to take on water or something extreme.

I have the former done. I'll check out the pilot journal and see if it needs attention. Thanks!
