Cool, sounds like i shouldnt have any problems driving a M6 in a camaro. What about a 2001-2002 Z06, same thing? I actually fit better in my dads C6 so im guessing it should be the same as a 2001-2002 vette.

If you fit it won't matter, the car dose seem to be made for shorter folk however. Yes im 5'8" and fit into the short category.

Giant midget at 5'8". LOL I was rofling at the coner bracing comment.
I'm 6'3" and drive a '01 Z06. Have the seat about an inch forward. Dump the rear, raise the front for some thigh support and I'm good. The only thing that sucks is my helmet hits the roof. I have to drive laid back or tilt my head to right when at the track. It sucks! Wish I was only 6' tall like my baby brother or 5'11" like my runt brother.

Lol, it's true. I have to spread my legs a bit to get around the steering wheel and also so I have the right angle at the pedals. My left knee is already on the door and I can use my right calf on the center console to keep me from sliding that way. I don't move at all.

I just installed some sparco torino's and I got them to sit lower then the factory seats and they also slide back farther so I fit in the car much better now.

I know it's true. That's why I was laughing. I was doing it too, instinctively. Thought I was the only one doing it. Never realized there were so many tall people that were corner burners.
I just wish I could heel-toe to get into corners better. No room for us tall folks do that sort of thing. Only vehicles I could do that in would be heavy duty, IE: semi tractors, and tow trucks for semi's.

Oh there's corner burners here, we just get overshadowed by all the draggers.

I'm not sure how pedal placement is on vettes, but I have no issues in my camaro. You also probably have a decent sized foot too, and with that you should be able to roll your foot over to the throttle from the brake to blip it.

I usually have about half my foot on the brake pedal at a slight angle, so that my two heels are forming a "v". With that set-up it's pretty easy to pull it off no problem.

As you're pressing down on the brake, bend you ankle a bit and reach with your little toes to press the gas pedal.

If you're still having issues you might want to try a flatter shoe. I've sat in cars that allowed me to do proper heel toe action and prefer this method hands down.

6'3" 250lbs, and not too much of a problem, except getting in. If you pop the steering wheel up before you get out, it makes getting in and out easier.
