bad master cylinder?

OK, so your pedal sticks during the 2-3 shift and so on after getting a good hard 1-2 shift, right?

What if you're just cruising along and make an easy 1-2 shift, then hammer it in the middle of 2nd, are you then able to get a good 2-3 shift?

Possibly. The adjusters should have the springs compressed with a new disk. I would only worry though if you couldnt put the car into gear while it was running and stopped. The only way to reset the adjuster is with the PP compressed.

I just got a spec and they sent out a spacer that is placed behind the slave and it has fixed my (crash pedal) sticking to the floor issue
I too switched out the master and the slave with no luck then figured it was the clutch.
Put that spacer in and no more issues.
They said if the fly wheel was used or been turned it would cause the master to over extend thus sticking to the floor.
I bought a brand ne clutch fly wheel assembly from gm and still had the same problem.
I would think if you put the spacer behind howevers slave it should cure the problem.
Hopefully SPEC sells them.

about how thick is that spacer? I didnt consider the possibility that material had worn off the fingers of my PP, causing the problem.

i dont know if anyone cares or not but if anyone is still having their problems, i put in my slave and about 10 minutes or driving later i tested it out and it still had the problem. i didnt get on it again for about a week and then it wasnt really that bad and now it doesnt really have the problem at all. after getting on it i can kinda tell its not super stiff but i think thats prolly just that restrictor. but i havnt had any problems since, kinda like it fixed itself over time i duno but im just glad it works now

Hmm well mine did the same damn thing on my old ls6 clutch. then i swaped it out for my spec 3 plus. Never did it again but im about to spray so we'll see now!
