Oops Broke a line...

Well, I slide the tranny back, take the bolts off the slave, try pullin it off the shaft.. and the hyd line snapped, right at where it connects to the slave??

So after a few choice words... and some fluid clean up.. I took the tranny the rest the way out, and am ready for my rebuild.. but question is.. can I just get an new slave, like an adjustable one, and replace the old one, and would that fix my little snapped line?? from the looks of it, where the steal braided line ends, there is a connector of some sort.. any help would be GREAT..

ur screwd i dont knw if u can just buy that line i think u have to buy the whole master cylinder setup, and while ur at it change out the slave.

LOL. Garbage truck just picked up the can with a good line in it. I purchased a new master so I threw out my old stuff, sorry man.

You can buy fitting from McLeod that allows you to use -3an line. Only down side is you loose the quick disconnect, but most people here dont use that anyways.

Okay, are you sure its that bad, it broke right at the slave, like the disconnect is all still good... I really think that buying a new slave(which I was planning on) will fix the problem.. maybe I made it sound alot worse than it really was...when you install a new slave, you have to redo that line anyways right??? Well I will try and post some pics.. later..
