Default Soft Clutch

I recall someone talking about having a soft clutch pedal after running the car hard. My has been doing this and stayed on the floor till the car cooled and then worked fine again. I have the stock hydraulics and Z06 clutch. Help?

Default Re: Soft Clutch

My brother has a 2000 Z and he had the same problem. After a hard launch and run down the track(tring to catch me) he said he had a very "soft, mush" feeling clutch. Someone on this site had suggested that high heat generated by the motor/exhaust heats the steel lines in the engine compartment causing this adverse condition. I think it was "nineball" said he rerouted the lines and the problem disappeared. We have not tried this but may be worth looking into?? good luck
